Gibson County Clerk Office Mobile Shelving Project
To increase records storage capacity, a nine-unit high-density mobile shelving system was installed for the Gibson County Clerk’s Office.
The system consists of eight mobile shelving units and one stationary unit, allowing multiple rows of shelving to be stored within a compact footprint while maintaining access to records when needed. The mobile design reduces the amount of floor space required for permanent aisles, creating additional storage capacity within the existing records area.
Locking doors were incorporated into the end unit, allowing the entire system to be secured when not in use and providing an additional layer of protection for important records and documents.
Once installed, records were organized within the new shelving system, creating a centralized storage area designed to accommodate both current records and future growth. The completed installation provides a secure and efficient records storage environment while making better use of the available space.
